Bass Pro Shop in Perrysburg Ohio Review

Bass Pro Shop in Perrysburg Ohio Review

Our family loves the Outdoor Stores!

We traveled to Perrysburg Ohio to stay overnight a couple weekends ago. We went up there because we had bought tickets for my husband and his oldest son to go see Red Green’s stand up show for Dave’s Father’s Day gift.  Since we were going to be right by Bowling Green Ohio we set up a college tour for T who is a senior and D who is a junior this year.

We left early on Saturday am and got them to their tour at 10am, since we had the triplets with us, we did not go on the tour with them (they said they were the only kids without parents..oops!)  Dave and I wanted to find something fun for the rest of us to do while they were there.  We decided to head to Perrysburg from Bowling Green and check out the hotel we had made reservations for even though it was too early to check in.

We spotted the Bass Pro Shop and it was an easy decision from there as to what we were going to do.  For the last 2 years we have given the kids gift certs to Cabelas and taken them to the one in WV after Christmas as an adventure.  I have been to the Bass Pro Shop in Cincinnati before and knew it was very similar, just a little smaller.

We had no problem spending 2 hours, in fact – we had to hurry up and check out to get back on time!

The store is very open and large.  The kids favorite area was the huge fish tank, but we wandered the whole store.  Each store is a little different and I guess the ceiling in the back of the store by the elevators is exclusive to this Perrysburg, Ohio store.

The store is clean and orderly….everyone was very friendly. It was nice because it wasn’t too busy and they didn’t mind me taking pictures!!  I think they are used to it. This is not your typical store.

I would highly recommend if you are up north near the Bowling Green – Toledo area you should stop! It is a fun place to visit and can make a 1-2 hour field trip without any problem. You don’t have to spend any money if you don’t want to, and I think there is enough to see that everyone who enjoys the outdoors will be interested in visiting.
