Nutcracker Restaurant in Pataskala, Ohio Review

Nutcracker Restaurant in Pataskala, Ohio Review

There are still some 50′s Diner around!

This cute little restaurant doesn’t look super fancy outside… actually it looks a little plain, (I forgot to get a picture)
but the small parking lot is almost always full. That is always a good sign isn’t it?
You walk in and walk back in time….to the 50′s. The booths, tables are all 50′s. There is memorabilia all over the walls.. and Yes.. you guessed it ..there are nutcrackers all over to decorate. They line the windowsills and are in all sizes and styles.

Please be aware there is music with the video so please adjust your volume if needed.

When you check out there is old fashion candy and Amish pies and chocolates. I love the caramels. Well…I love the chocolate…and pies…and candy. Well…you get the picture.
The food is very reasonably priced and as I think back I can’t think of anything that I didn’t enjoy. They have the daily special, but I think my last meal was just a BLT sandwich.
I’m trying to remember if Tuesday is Kids eat free night AND all you can eat pancakes or if those are on separate nights. But we went once and it was a packed house on a Tuesday night.
The waitresses are friendly and easy going and it is just a family friendly, light and fun atmosphere.
They have a party room in back that can be rented out and there seems to be some kind of community project going on or being announced every time we are there. They are very involved in the Pataskala community.
This would be an easy place to recommend. As you are driving east on Broad Street in Pataskala it is on the right…on a corner – not too far past the McDonalds.
Give it a try…
