Have You Ever Heard of Round Brownies?

Mark and Tom are the creators and owners of Sugardaddy’s Sumptuous Sweeties.
Tom would make up these wonderful brownie creations and Mark loved them so much that he encouraged him to take his love of baking, his marvelous brownie creations, and creativity to the next level.
They make round brownies. Why round? Because there are no edges! Mark and Tom did a lot of research and found out that the majority of people do not like the crust (I’m in the minority I guess… but I love ALL of a brownie! lol)
But they don’t waste one bit of the brownie in the pan. The crusts end up being double baked and made into an awesome biscotti. They use the little bits of brownies that come from between the cut circles and sell them in a bag called pocket change.
They use bits of it in ice cream, truffles and cheesecake. Nothing goes to waste. I think you could call them green? lol

I loved the look of the Lewis Center store. I’ve not yet been in their downtown Columbus store. I got to visit with a Columbus based social media group Tastecasting in June of 2009. Their 2nd store came to be after that. We were treated to samples of all the fun brownies and blondies.
The brunette brownie is called brunette because it is made with a brown sugar base. The blonds are light colored because of the butter. (and no brown sugar I guess)
They make brownies and blonds that you would never think would taste good. I mean really.. Chai Spiced, Thaiti, Fiery Zanzibar? Did I like them? Yes…. did I crave these round brownies for weeks after I had them? Yes…. and I did go back a couple times since then when I was in the area.
